A Walk-in Interview

Application is invited in plain paper for the post of Research Assistant (purely on contract basis), in the Department of Linguistics under the UPE-Project; Area Studies-II.

1. Essential: MA Linguistics 55% (relaxable as per Government of India Rules for
ST/SC candidates.

2. Desirable: Having knowledge of either Tibeto-Burman or Austroasiatic languages of
the North Eastern India. Apply with CV in standard format on or the 15-12-09 to the undersigned. A walk-in interview will be held on the same date at 11.00 a.m. in the department of Linguistics.

Conditions:

1. Emolument: Rs 8000/- per month
2. Duration: initially one year which can be renewable
