Applications complete in all respects, on prescribed form are invited from the permanent residents of the Jammu & Kashmir State for the following posts:-

1. Assistant Programmer (No. of Posts 01, Category ST, Pay Scale 9300-34800, Grade Pay 4200)

Eligibility:- MCA/B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science/BCA with minimum two years experience with at least 60% of aggregate marks.

2. Laboratory Assistant (Botany) (No. of Posts 01, Category ALC, Pay Scale 9300-34800, Grade Pay 4200)

Eligibility:- M.Sc in Botany.

3. Technical Assistant (Physics & Electronics) (No. of Posts 01, Category Open, Pay Scale 5200-20200, Grade Pay 2800)

Eligibility:- 10+2 with 2 years Diploma in Electronics from a recognized Institute/Centre.

4. Steno-Typist (No. of Posts 12, Category Open=4, ST=2, SC=2, RBA=3, ALC=1, Pay Scale 5200-20200, Grade Pay 2400)

Eligibility:- Graduate having a minimum speed of 60 w.p.m. in shorthand and 40 words w.p.m. in typing.

5. Draftsman (No. of Posts 01, Category Open, Pay Scale 5200-20200, Grade Pay 2800)

Eligibility:- Two years Diploma in Draftsmanship from a recognized Institute.

6. Electrician (No. of Posts 01, Category RBA, Pay Scale 5200-20200, Grade Pay 1900)

Eligibility:- Matric with Diploma from ITI in relevant trade.

7. Plumber (No. of Posts 01, Category SC, Pay Scale 5200-20200, Grade Pay 1900)

Eligibility:- ITI Diploma in relevant trade.

8. Gasman (Physics) (No. of Posts 01, Category RBA, Pay Scale 4440-7440, Grade Pay 1650)

Eligibility:- Middle Pass and Certificate Course from ITI or Middle Pass with skill in the trade.

Prescribed application form can be obtained from Forms & Stationery Section (Room No. 204, 2nd floor, Adm Block) University of Jammu, Jammu, personally on payment of Rs. 125/- or by-post by sending Bank Draft of Rs. 175/- drawn in favour of the REGISTRAR, UNIVERSITY OF JAMMU, JAMMU-180006, payable at Jammu. Application forms accompanied with attested copies of qualification certificates/testimonials including experience certificates issued by the competent authority, alongwith self-addressed envelope affixed with postal stamps worth Rs. 30/- be sent only by Registered/Speed Post to the Assistant Registrar, Adm.(C&R), Room No.112, Administrative Block, University of Jammu, so as to reach him on or before 24th December, 2009.
